Introduction to SELCheck
SELCheck is a utility with a website front-end providing troubleshooting and next-step information about IPMI-Compliant server systems based on System Event Log (SEL) data.
SELs can be thousands of lines long, and deducing the root cause of an issue can be time-consuming for experts and daunting for end users. SELCheck converts this into a list of occurances and unique events, and produces a summary of the most important issues, attaching a description of the event and (if relevant) next-step information for diagnosis and resolution.

A demonstration version of SELCheck is available:
To submit a log, simply choose the file (current formats supported: sysinfo, SELView hex formats), and then choose the format(s) you want. Summary produces a HTML summary of the log; Event List and Entry List produce CSV representations of the log. If you select a single box, that file is produced and opened. Multiple boxes will produce a zip file containing the chosen files.
The Reference Database Editor allows you to modify the knowledge base. To begin, enter the following credentials and click 'Log in':

SELCheck is still in pre-alpha stages, and therefore has no installer or documentation; however, a ZIP of the lastest build is available:
